🌐 Steps to Add a Journal Entry in TAS
Follow these steps to add a journal entry:
1. ➕ Use the Global Add Button
On the TAS Dashboard, click on the Global Add Button (usually located at the top right corner of the screen).
Select + Journal Entry from the dropdown menu.
2. 📋 Fill in Journal Entry Details
A pop-up window will appear. Fill in the following details:
📅 Journal Date: Specify the date for the journal entry.
📄 Account: Select the account to be credited or debited.
💳 Debit and Credit Amounts: Enter the amounts for debit and credit.
👤 Name: Enter the name related to the journal entry (e.g., vendor, customer).
3. ➕ Add New Account (Optional)
If you need to add a new account, click on + Add New Account in the pop-up window.
Provide the following details:
🏷️ Account Type: Select the type of account.
📄 Details Type: Specify the details type.
💱 Currency: Choose the currency for the account.
📝 Description: Enter a description for the account.
Once all fields are completed, click Save and New to add the account.
